Chemically Balanced- Wearing Clothes That Fit

*First, let me start by saying that I have had many people asking about new posts. Your support has been so awesome!!! I am currently working toward getting my Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology (we have a 2 week break right now. Wooo hoooo!) and everyone has been so understanding of that! Second, life has hit me hard (passing of my cousin, grandfather, and a car accident). I have been adjusting and I really needed to sort through my emotions and handle some business, so I took a break. Thanks so much for sticking with me! I promise to deliver more consistent content when I complete school in November! Continue to hang in there with me! Now let’s get into being chemically balanced!*

I know that as women we tend to hang on to pieces of clothing because we have a connection to them or because we lie to ourselves and say that we’ll lose weight and get back into it or because we just like the way it use to look. In reality, it doesn’t fit and it is time to get rid of it. I have been guilty recently, I have lost over 40 pounds and was still wearing slacks to work that were too big. I had a coworker tell me that I needed to get rid of them and she was absolutely correct (I loved her honesty & that’s absolutely a post for another day. Lol) It is important to wear clothes that fit. There is nothing worse than seeing someone with clothes that are too small. I understand that everyone does not get their clothes tailored. I have personally never gotten anything tailored. However I now make it my point to make sure that I wear clothes that fit! At the end of the day no matter how confident you are, if your clothes do not fit it is the first thing people notice. Know your size! Try the clothes on! If you buy it without trying it on and it does not fit, exchange it!!!! Whether you’ve lost weight, gained weight, had a baby, etc., it is okay to start a new wardrobe. I have been slowly buying new items and ridding my closet of items that no longer fit! Buy the correct size or find an awesome seamstress! You owe it to yourself!!

I’d love to see your chemically balanced look!
